88 YJ-CJ Washer Nozzle Plates

Stupid little parts...windshield nozzles. They're cheap plastic and 33 years old, so no surprise that both hose nipples were broken off. There's not a direct aftermarket replacement for a YJ nozzle. eBay has original parts, but those are also old, and somewhat pricey.

I decided to make a couple of adapter plates to mate up to a pair of Dorman 47137 aftermarket nozzles that I had laying around.

My plates are functional, but not very inspired. They don't look that far off from the originals. I had to grind off the back of the new Dorman nozzle for screw head clearance.

No final picture, but I painted the plates gloss black. These should work for a while. And I can always swap over to an original set if I find a good pair at a reasonable price.
