88 YJ-CJ More Insulation and More Red Paint!
Insulation:
Another warm day and a 2nd layer of insulation. The 2nd layer is 0.150" closed cell foam. Also from Noico. I went ahead and taped the seams and edges of the foam with black Gorilla tape. Some people use the silver foil tape, but that was going to look weird.

It doesn't look like I accomplished much, but laying this stuff down well is pretty tedious. The foam conforms pretty easily to all the firewall curves, so that helps.

I added a 2nd layer to the areas you can see in this picture - I'm not going for 100% coverage on the driver's side. There are too many obstacles, and you reach a point of diminishing returns. There will also be a layer of Floor and Tunnel Shield on the other side of the firewall that will help with the heat.

This will allow me to install a bunch of stuff on the firewall - the fuse block, steering column, accelerator pedal, brake pedal and heater.
Red Paint:
I also painted some stuff red today, which is always fun:
