Nothing but Distractions - YJ Seat Cover and Heater - March 1, 2021
No Jeepster update, but a small YJ project. As everyone knows, two weekends were lost in February due to the weather:
A few years ago, I ripped my driver's seat with a writing pen in my back pocket.
Luckily, you can buy new seat covers from Mastercraft.
And I've always wanted seat heaters in the Jeep, so I bought a kit from Amazon:
It was all pretty easy. You literally just untie 3 knots and slip the old cover off:
Slip it on, tie three knots, and it's done:
I'm going to buy a new cover for the passenger side too, even though it's in decent shape. First, that way the colors and logos will match - the old ones look pretty dull. And since I have to remove the cover to install the passenger seat heaters, it's a perfect time to just replace it:
