88 YJ-CJ Exhaust Part 3

Picking up after part 2 of the exhaust:

Rusty Tailpipe Hanger before Evapo-Rust:

I cleaned up a couple of spots with a scratch wheel.  Then it got new paint (no picture).

Exhaust pulled out of the Jeep for final welding, etc.

Front pipe is fully welded, cleaned and prepped for paint:

I've never used this before - we'll see if it performs well.
Front pipe is primed (no picture, but it was later painted):

Mid pipe is fully welded, cleaned and primed:

Insulation wrap materials.  I've never used any of this stuff before.

Based on good feedback from Mark and Doug, I just wrapped some targeted areas.  This wrapped area is adjacent to the starter.  You can also see one of the O2 ports that I added.  I stopped wrapping at the O2 port because it was going to be complicated to get around that area.

Wrapping such small areas was pretty easy.

Oil Pan wrap.  The pipe is closer to the pan than it looks in this picture:

Starter wrap:

After the front pipe was installed, I wrapped another area on the other side of the O2 port.  I wanted to protect the starter a little more.

Mid pipe all wrapped:
