Some days, you just don't feel like crawling underneath the Jeep...
Yesterday was one of those days, so I worked on my 12" sander that needed some attention. The sander will actually be very helpful for the exhaust work, so it is somewhat related to the Jeep Exhaust.

The sander is a Craftsman model from the late 1950s, so it's about 65 years old. It's all cast iron, and runs very smooth. The 12" disc is excellent for all kinds of woodworking, metalworking, etc.
For the current exhaust project, it can be used to even out cuts on exhaust pipe - better fitting joints = easier welding. Or it could be used to make slight angle adjustments to exhaust pipe to make the exhaust fit better around obstacles underneath the Jeep.
I bought the sander down in Fredericksburg back in 2021, but it sat idle while I waited to make a mount for the new switch. In the meantime, I sold my Delta 6" disc/4" belt sander. It was okay, but not great.
