1973 Jeep Commando Purchase March 2018

A major improvement was just removing the "custom" front bumper:

Another questionable mod by the previous owner...the gas fill hose:

The body had some rust, mostly in the front floorpans. Otherwise, it was pretty solid. Passenger floor:

The tailgates on these also don't fair very well - this is pretty typical:

Using scotchbrite pads and water, I was able to remove most of the "camo" paint

Taking the top off also improved it - my Mom approved! This was in April 2018:
